Mr. Anderson is a Senior Partner of Anderson & Kriger. He has represented Southern California homeowners in construction defect cases since 1982 and has been a practicing attorney since 1976. With more than 20 jury trials and numerous judge trials in his real estate, business and complex civil litigation career, Mr. Anderson has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

He received his undergraduate degree in 1970 from the University of California at San Diego and his law degree in 1976 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he participated on the Appellate Moot Court Board. He was also a writer of the Law Review in 1974, and the Law Review "Notes and Comments" editor in 1975-1976. Early in his career, Mr. Anderson had extensive courtroom experience in the field of civil litigation, practicing law in both state and federal courts. He has tried cases in San Diego County Municipal Court, Superior Court, and the Fourth District Court of Appeal, United States District Court, and the Bankruptcy Court.

Besides an extensive background in writing on construction defect law, Mr. Anderson has taught and lectured in numerous forums, and continues to refine his skills as a litigator through participating in the San Diego Inns of Court and attending Continuing Education of the Bar litigation seminars. Since 1977 he has been a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and is an active member of the Foothills Bar Association where he served as president in 1993. Clayton Anderson also belongs to the Southwest County Bar Association, the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association, and the Community Association Institute in both San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties.
