Crawford v. Weather Shield Mfg, Inc.

On January 31, 2006, the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three, affirmed the Trial Court ruling granting a new trial on strict product liability against the window subcontractor, Weathershield Manufacturing, for Plaintiffs and Appellants represented by Clayton M. Anderson, Esq. and Philip Y. Kim, Esq. of Anderson & Kriger. The Plaintiffs and Appellants are 50 homeowners living in multi-million dollar homes in the Orange County beach resort city of Huntington Beach, California. These homes were built with defective wood windows which caused resultant damage in the homes. Clayton M. Anderson and Philip Y. Kim are now awaiting a new trial date.   Crawford Opinion (PDF)
